Before her role at Jasper AI, she worked in HR at Flatiron Health and Google. Her experience has shaped her into a people leader with a unique perspective on the future of HR and how teams will operate.
She sat down with Dan Turchin, CEO of PeopleReign, to explain how today’s choices can lead to bigger opportunities when all the right pieces come together.
Companies can transform and thrive, but they must also ensure that employees win. How? By reinventing and redefining roles, improving benefits, and reimagining compensation.

Increased efficiency is not only about cutting costs or completing tasks faster. It’s about creating new possibilities.
Everyone in an organization should be able to “practice at the top of their license,” focusing on their primary roles while AI helps redesign the rest of the workflow for greater efficiency.
Gen Z faces a lot of rejection in the workplace, where Alex has seen 1,200 CVs for a single role, but she believes this generation will become the future leaders of AI because they are native to it.
Those who are skeptical or anxious about AI should not distance themselves from it. Instead, they should take an active role in shaping AI to promote inclusion, diversity, and representation.
We should not fear losing jobs to AI. While it will replace some roles, it will also create new ones, from governance to leadership.

AI executives and leaders once called for regulation. Not anymore.
Gerrit De Vynck and Nitasha Tiku wrote in The Washington Post about how the tables have turned.
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI and creator of ChatGPT, recently issued a stern warning at a Senate hearing. He said requiring government approval to release powerful AI software would be “disastrous” for the United States in its race to lead AI innovation.
It was a striking reversal from his comments at a Senate hearing two years ago, which you can read here. Back then, he listed creating a new agency to license AI technology as his number one recommendation for ensuring safety.
Critics of this new stance warn that AI technology is already causing harm. Researchers have shown that AI systems can absorb racism and other biases from the data they are trained on. In February, Google’s AI lab DeepMind scrapped its long-held pledge not to develop AI for weapons or surveillance. You can read more about this controversial move here.
PeopleReign CEO Dan Turchin points out that responsible use of AI will ultimately accelerate innovation, not slow it down.
No AI vendor disagrees with the need to protect humans from being harmed, either directly or indirectly, by AI.
We should stop waiting for governments—ours or anyone else’s—to pass legislation. AI vendors need to lead by example.
We should be the ones showing governments how AI is being regulated, while holding each other accountable.
PeopleReign itself makes every effort possible to lead by example. It requires every customer to complete an AI guardrails workshop before going into production, where everyone explicitly discusses AI safety.
Responsible AI is everyone's responsibility.
