The workplace is changing faster than ever. Hybrid work, AI-driven hiring, and evolving employee expectations are reshaping the traditional employer-employee relationship.

Today's guest explores how companies are adapting to these massive changes. From creating intentional cultures to leveraging AI in hiring, we’re diving into the strategies that will define the next era of work.
Let’s get into this week’s highlights! 🚀

📖 HR is evolving—are we keeping up?
HR isn’t just payroll and benefits anymore. It’s about people. The shift is massive, and Bryan Power has seen it firsthand. People are not just resources—they are integral to the company's operations and culture.
This transformation goes beyond HR—it’s redefining how Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) and Chief Diversity Officers (CDOs) collaborate. Amira K.S. Barger from Edelman explores this crucial partnership: how can these leaders embed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at the core instead of treating it as a checkbox?
The best companies aren’t just tracking diversity—they’re analyzing the real impact of inclusion. Innovative leaders are using data to uncover hidden biases and build workplaces where everyone thrives.
Want to know how strategic role definition and strong collaboration between CHROs and CDOs can reshape corporate culture? Dive into this powerful piece from Amira Barger at the Transform blog.
What’s your take? How should HR and DEI teams work together to drive real change? Let’s discuss.

🎶 Worth a Debate
We use AI for almost everything—so why are we afraid to use it in hiring? 🤔
This week on the HR Heretics podcast, Kelli Dragovich and Nolan Church tackled a hot topic: Should we rethink AI’s role in interviews?
Their conversation touches on a dilemma that Bryan Power from Nextdoor also contemplates: the irony of not utilizing AI's full potential in the hiring process due to fears of dishonesty.
Bryan puts it bluntly:
Why do we still test skills as if AI doesn’t exist? That’s like asking someone to research without the internet or do math without a calculator. It’s outdated. Instead, we should be testing how well candidates use AI to solve real problems.
A listener echoed the frustration: Interviews rarely reflect the actual job. If AI is shaping the future of work, shouldn’t we be hiring for it?
So, what’s next? Structured AI-based questions? Problem-solving with AI tools? Bryan (and we do, too!) want to hear from those pushing the boundaries of hiring.
Should AI be an interview asset instead of a liability? Let’s discuss. 👇
